Cruise's stunt took place at Møre og Romsdal, Norway, on Sept. 6. Reprising his role as "Ethan Hunt" for a seventh time, Cruise is seen pulling off the successful but terrifying stunt, seen below from multiple angles.
Cruise's jump amassed millions of views on social media on Sept. 7, leaving fans and viewers to marvel at the soon-to-be 60-year-old's latest death-defying act in the action franchise.

The seventh instalment in the Mission: Impossible franchise resumed filming in the UK in July, after being one of the first to shutdown in the early moments of the COVID-19 outbreak in Italy. In August, the film shoot transitioned to Norway, where Cruise performed his stunt last week.
MI7 is scheduled for a November 2021 release date, and the film sees Christopher McQuarrie return to direct his third film in the franchise. Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Henry Czerny, and Vanessa Kirby join Cruise in reprising their earlier MI roles in the new movie.
