The 35-year-old actress also received acclaim for two roles in 2019. She starred in Marriage Story alongside Adam Driver, and she played a supporting role as the mother in Jojo Rabbit. She was nominated for Oscars for both roles, accomplishing the rare feat of Lead and Supporting Actress nominations in the same year - though she did not win in either category.
