Searchlight Pictures today uploaded the first official trailer for The French Dispatch! It's the new film from director Wes Anderson starring an ensemble cast that includes Bill Murray and Timothée Chalamet.
The production studio describes the film as "a collection of stories from the final issue of an American magazine published in a fictional 20th-century French city."

The French Dispatch looks to be another well-crafted film from Wes Anderson. The director is known for his colourful and expert set designs as well as the quirky humour in his films.

What you need to know about The French Dispatch
The French Dispatch is set for a July 2020 release. The film features Wes Anderson film regulars including Bill Murray, Frances McDormand, Adrien Brody, Owen Wilson, and Jason Schwartzman.
The young rising star actor Timothée Chalamet also stars in the film, making it his first collaboration with director Wes Anderson. Anderson is also known for directing The Grand Budapest Hotel, Fantastic Mr. Fox, and Isle of Dogs.
You can also check out the film's The New Yorker feature from yesterday! It included several production stills and a promotional poster for The French Dispatch. The film is reportedly in part inspired by the history of The New Yorker.
