Queen Latifah has spoken on the Chris Noth scandal.
The two were co-stars on The Equalizer, but Noth was fired after multiple women accused him of rape, sexual assault, and misconduct. That was on Dec. 21. A month later, Queen Latifah has broken her silence.
The Equalizer: Queen Latifah on Chris Noth scandal
It's been a complicated time, and The Equalizer star just shared her thoughts on People (the TV Show!).
She said: "It's still surreal. It's such a dicey, delicate situation that requires a great deal of respect."
Understandably, Queen Latifah didn't get into the specifics of the allegations, as Noth has denied them and has yet to be charged with a crime. "That's a personal thing that he's going to have to deal with," she said.
As for The Equalizer, the actress stated: "We are figuring out what we want to do creatively on the show, and how we're going to deal with that character.
"Chris's character is obviously a big part of the show, and it was amazing chemistry. And my feeling is justice has to prevail, regardless."
Queen Latifah concluded: "I just want the right things to be done, you know?"
Noth's final episode of The Equalizer aired this month. Now in season 2, the series has quickly become one of TV's top shows.
Noth had played "William Bishop," but he was fired after five women separately made disturbing allegations against him.
The Equalizer season 2 is currently delayed and a new episode isn't expected to air until Feb. 27.
