Two women have come forward with allegations of sexual assault against Chris Noth.

The Sex and the City star had been enjoying a trending moment with And Just Like That... and a Peloton ad that followed. But the women, who told their stories to The Hollywood Reporter, say that Noth's comeback inspired them to speak out.

Chris Noth Accused Of Raping Two Women

THR says the two anonymous women reached out separately in recent months about incidents that occurred a decade apart.

The first claim, made by a woman who now works as a journalist, occurred in 2004 when she was 22 and Noth was 49. She described working for a firm that did business with Noth, who pursued her and eventually convinced her to visit his apartment.

Under friendly circumstances, Noth lured the woman alone into his home, where he then kissed her consensually, but against her will removed her clothes and raped her.

The victim told THR: "It was very painful and I yelled out, 'Stop!' And he didn't. I said, 'Can you at least get a condom?' and he laughed at me."

The second woman alleges that Noth sexually assaulted and raped her in 2015 after a date. A 25-year-old server at the time, the woman says she got drunk while out with the 60-year-old Noth and agreed to visit his apartment.

She says she "cautiously entertained" his attempts to make out, but suddenly "he pulled down his pants and he was standing in front of me." She alleges Noth made her forcibly perform oral sex on him before he then raped her.

Both alleged victims told THR of contact they made with friends who can support the aftermath of their claims. The first victim says she was treated in hospital after the assault, and the second victim also has a text correspondence with Noth following the incident.

Both remarked on being starstruck by the Sex and the City actor but chose not to go to police at the time. (The lengthy stories can be read in full at THR.)

Noth personally responded to THR after the disturbing allegations. His statement reads: "The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false.

"These stories could've been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago — no always means no — that is a line I did not cross. The encounters were consensual.

"It's difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out. I don't know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women."

Noth, 67, has been married to his wife Tara Wilson since 2012. He starred on Law & Order from 1990 to 1995 before playing "Mr. Big" on Sex and the City from 1998 to 2004.
