Aside from playing "Mary Cooper", many sitcom fans will know Laurie Metcalf as "Jackie Harris" in Roseanne - she reprised her role again in The Conners, which premiered in 2018. Metcalf also starred as "Marion McPherson" in the independent hit movie Lady Bird alongside Saoirse Ronan and was nominated for an Academy Award for that role. Keith Carradine is not only an actor, but also a singer. He even won an Oscar in 1976 for "Best Original Song" for the film Nashville. He has starred in the films Peacock and Cowboys & Aliens amongst others. He has also had numerous guest appearances in TV shows, including in Criminal Minds, Numb3rs, Fargo (Season 1). He starred as POTUS "Conrad Dalton" in Madam Secretary from 2014 until 2019.
It was always a delight watching The Big Bang Theory and one of "Leonard", "Howard", "Raj" or "Sheldon's" parents appear on screen! And "Sheldon" and "Leonard's" mothers are absolutely brilliant as "Dr. Beverly Hofstadter" and "Mary Cooper".
