Simon Helberg is an American actor and comedian known for his participation in series and programs such as Mad TV, or Joey, but above all for being one of the main characters in the comedy series The Big Bang Theory, thanks to his role as "Howard Wolowitz."
Simon Maxwell Helberg was born on December 9, 1980, in Los Angeles, California. He attended the Tisch School of the Arts in New York. Then, in the early 2000s, Simon began to star in various television programs, such as Ruling Class or Undeclared. From 2002 he also was featured on Mad TV, one of his most memorable works. That same year he appeared in the film National Lampoon's Van Wilder. In 2004, he was also featured in episodes of Reno 911!, in addition to being part of the cast of the film A Cinderella Story, starring Hilary Duff.
It was in 2007 when Simon began working on the series that he would be most recognized for: The Big Bang Theory, in which he stood out thanks to his character "Howard Wolowitz", an aerospace engineer. Simon was one of the five characters who participated in the entirety of the 12 seasons that the series lasted, as well as in the 279 episodes of it, becoming one of the most beloved characters and in one of the works that had the greatest recognition. Since then, Simon has participated in films such as A Serious Man, Let Go, Annette, and Florence Foster Jenkins, alongside Hugh Grant and Meryl Streep.
