In the 2001 classic A Beautiful Mind, we have the antisocial mathematician "John Nash" played by Russell Crowe, who accepts a secret job in cryptography allegedly given to him by the CIA. 'Blood Diamond'

Blood Diamond is a true DiCaprio classic! The fisherman "Solomon Vandy" (Djimon Hounsou) is kidnapped by a group of rebels and sent to work in the diamond mines of Sierra Leone. Upon mining, he discovers a pink-coated diamond. Shortly after being arrested by the government army, he is taken to prison and ratted out by his fellow mine workers. We were slightly surprised to see Jim Carrey starring in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, but then again, this just shows us that he is an amazingly well-rounded actor! "Joel Barish" (Jim Carrey) is just your average heartbroken man struggling to get over his one true love, "Clementine" (Kate Winslet). After hearing of "Clementine's" procedure, which completely erased all memories of her time with "Joel", he decides to do the same only to realize that he may be making the biggest mistake of his life...

'Gran Torino'

We loved Clint Eastwood's badass role in Gran Torino! The bitter Korean War veteran "Walt Kowalski" (Eastwood) sets out to mentor his neighbour "Tao Vang Lor," who he catches attempting to steal the old man's most prized possession— his 1972 Gran Torino. This movie really dives deep into topics such as racial conflict, gang violence, and drugs... definitely a great watch!
