Natalie Portman is an Israeli-born actress, best known for playing "Padmé Amidala" in Star Wars or "Jane Foster" in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Natalie has also stood out for films such as Black Swan, Léon: The Professional or V For Vendetta.
Natalie Portman was born on June 9, 1981, in Jerusalem, Israel. Natalie's debut as an actress occurred at the age of 13, in the 1994 film Léon: The Professional, starring Jean Reno, in which her talent managed to shine brightly. In the following years, she participated in films such as Beautiful Girls, Mars Attacks, or Everyone Says I Love You. In 1999 she was part of Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace, as the iconic character "Padmé Amidala," whom she reprised in two other films. In 2004, she starred in Closer, a film for which she won a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress.
In 2005 she starred in V for Vendetta; However, one of her most prominent roles was given in 2010 thanks to the film Black Swan, with which she was awarded Best Actress at the Oscars, the Golden Globes, the BAFTAs, as well as the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Natalie is one of the few actresses who has won those four awards for the same film. As of 2011 Natalie became involved in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the movie Thor, by playing "Jane Foster" and in later years she has also participated in films such as Knight of Cups, Jane Got a Gun, Vox Lux, or Lucy in the Sky.
Natalie has had a few high-profile relationships in her life like with Lukas Haas, Jake Gyllenhaal, Gael García Bernal or Liron Levo, as well as others such as the musician Devendra Banhart or the model Nathan Bogle. However, in 2010 the actress became engaged to choreographer Benjamin Millepied, whom she met while working on the film Black Swan. In June 2014 Natalie gave birth to her first child with Benjamin: Aleph Millepied Portman. Meanwhile, the couple married in August 2012 in California, while in February 2017 they welcomed their daughter Amalia!
