However, Meghan is, above all, a talented actress, who was deservingly well known in her own right long before she met her husband. In fact, Meghan acted in many films and series before halting that work when she became a royal. These are some of the her best film and TV roles!

In 2011, Meghan was part of a TV pilot titled The Boys and Girls Guide to Getting Down. The series was described as a comedy with useful tips on how to party and enjoy nightlife without ruining your life.

Comedy Horrible Bosses did not feature Meghan Markle in a lead role, but she did have a small appearance as a FedEx delivery worker in it. Other A-listers including Jason Bateman and Jennifer Aniston led the cast of the 2011 film.

Suits is no doubt the most successful project Meghan was ever involved with. The American TV series is a legal-drama that featured Meghan as "Rachel Zane" from 2011 to 2018. She exited the popular show after seven seasons and it concluded two seasons later in 2019.

Dysfunctional Friends is a comedy featuring Meghan Markle from 2012. It sees a group of nine friends who meet after the unexpected death of the friend who held them all together. The catch? They must resolve their differences to collect an inheritance from their late friend.

This film, directed by Boris Undorf, is about a romantic comedy where Meghan plays "Mindy," part of a couple fighting to keep their relationship alive in the world of show business... this sounds familiar. It was one of her first leading roles.

This project was a film made for television, in which Meghan plays "Amy Peterson," a journalist who returns to her hometown to write a story about the 4th of July. There, she discover that the life and love she left behind weren't truly left to the past.

Anti-Social is a crime film in which Meghan plays "Kirsten," sharing screen credits with actors like Gregg Sulkin and Josh Myers. The story revolves around a street artist, who must endanger his future to assist his criminal brother.

Dater's Handbook is another made-for-TV movie and it's Meghan's final acting project outside of Suits. In the 2016 film, the future Duchess of Sussex takes on the role of "Cassandra Brand," a successful businesswoman who's less successful in her personal life. To find love, she resort to another method to find the ideal man: a book called "The Dater's Handbook."
