A Quiet Place Part II was scheduled to premiere on Friday, March 20. But now, the horror movie sequel has been delayed due to the coronavirus. The film's studio, Paramount, and director, John Krasinski, both confirmed the news on Thursday morning.
As of today, Paramount hasn't announced a new release date for the movie.

John Krasinski's Instagram statement emphasizes the difficulty of the decision to postpone the release date for A Quiet Place Part II. But he remains optimistic and excited for his film's eventual release, saying: "I'm gonna wait to release the film til we CAN see it all together. So here's to our group movie date! See you soon!"
Fans offered understanding responses to the announcement.
Paramount Pictures also released a statement, confirming a worldwide postponement of the film's release date.

No new release date is known for A Quiet Place Part II. The movie is a sequel to A Quiet Place from 2018. It stars husband and wife John Krasinski and Emily Blunt. Krasinski has also written and directed both films. The sequel did have its world premiere on March 8, but its wide release will now come at a later date.
