After 2012 and 2016, the Lpopular host of Jimmy Kimmel Live! is presenting the prestigious Award show for the third time already, having also hosted the Academy Awards twice as well as the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner in 2012.

Jimmy Kimmel: "We are doing it and I am hosting it"

"I don’t know where we will do this or how we will do this or even why we are doing this, but we are doing it and I am hosting it," Kimmel wrote in a Tweet on Tuesday, confirming that the event will take place, but without specifying the format of the event or where it will be held. The 2019 Emmy Awards aired on Fox and actually went ahead without one specific host. Nominations for the 2020 Emmy Awards will be announced on July 28!
