'Beverly Hills Cop 4' With Eddie Murphy Is Coming To Netflix

Detective "Axel Foley" is coming back! Netflix will be taking over the franchise from Paramount to produce the long overdue sequel to the third installment, which came out 25 years ago.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the project will be made thanks to a deal that Netflix inked with Paramount. Eddie Murphy will return as street-smart police detective "Axel Foley" and producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who worked on the first two movies, will also be back. The Beverly Hills Cop franchise, which consists of three films, has earned over $735 million worldwide. Beverly Hills Cop III was released in 1994.
