There is no doubt that one of the funniest Friends moments came when "Monica" and "Chandler" decided to host a costume party in their apartment. In the season 8 episode, we meet the fiancé of "Phoebe's" sister "Ursula," while "Rachel" tries to boost her motherly instincts by giving children candy (which doesn't go well), and "Ross" and "Chandler" battle to impress the kids and their partners. A Halloween classic!

Every season, Brooklyn Nine-Nine has given us special Halloween episodes that are true gems of the show. At Halloween, the police station organizes a "heist" of a personal item belonging to "Captain Holt," and the team has all day to find it and call themselves the ultimate winner. All these episodes are great, but the best one has to be from season 5, when the whole heist is staged so that "Jake" proposes to "Amy"!

We all found it very sweet (and a bit desperate) that "Ted" waited every Halloween for the mysterious girl in a pumpkin dress that he met many years earlier — but, in season seven, he finally managed to have a formal date with her. Unfortunately, the encounter turned out to be, well, not quite as romantic as he'd hoped...

We all remember "Sheldon's" great costume as "the Doppler effect"—which nobody understood—but really one of the funniest Big Bang Theory Halloween episodes came in season 12. "Howard" jokingly disguises himself as "Sheldon," and after arguing, "Sheldon" and "Amy" joke around by dressing up as "Howard" and "Bernadette."

Nobody in the world loves Halloween as much as "Claire Dunphy" — and the truth is that all the holiday-themed episodes of Modern Family are classics! However, probably the best and definitely the most emotional was in season 10, when, sadly, "Mitch" and "Claire's" mother "DeDe" dies. Not to mention "Mitch" and "Cam's" cool costumes as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex (and "Lilly" as a Buckingham Palace guard).

In this Parks and Recreation Halloween episode, "Ann" fails miserably at throwing a fun party, while "Leslie" and "Andy" spend the night trying (and failing) to catch "Greg Pikitis," a teenager who always does evil to the Pawnee precinct — and, most of all, enjoys teasing "Leslie Knope."

The first time we saw "Michael Scott" celebrate with his team was in "Halloween" (season 2), one of the best moments of the series. Though thrilled with his home-made costume, "Michael" is disappointed to receive news that he must fire an employee by the end of the day. Of course, the whole office finds out, making the day truly gruesome — and uncomfortable, as he sends home a costumed worker.

The Simpsons is famed for its "Treehouse of Horror" Halloween special. Usually covering a parody of two or three horror movies and stories, the annual episode aired for a 31st time in 2020 and is even showing a marathon of them all on FX. For the best, we'll throw it back to the iconic season 2 episode, when "Homer" was terrified listening in on "Lisa" reading "The Raven" by Edgar Allan Poe — with a wonderful early-Simpsons animation of the poem.

In Community season 2, a fun Halloween party at the college turns into a real-life nightmare when one of the attendees infects everyone with a zombifying virus! The diverse group of friends had to do their best to survive, even leaving a few behind.
