All in the Family is one of TV's all-time greats. In the 1970s, the CBS sitcom aired nine seasons centred on the "Bunker" family and "Michael 'Meathead' Stivic," the husband of daughter "Gloria." The show was famous for its infusion of contemporary social issues into a family sitcom.
All in the Family Cast: What Happened to the Stars?
The main cast members were Carroll O'Connor (as "Archie Bunker"), Jean Stapleton, Rob Reiner, Sally Struthers, and Danielle Brisebois. The supporting cast included Sherman Hemsley, Isabel Sanford, and Mike Evans as the neighbouring "Jefferson" family, who later starred in beloved spin-off The Jeffersons.
So what happened to the All in the Family cast? The show did continue in spin-off Archie Bunker's Place in the early 1980s. But with the revival, the show has been off the air for nearly 30 years. Most of the stars have now passed on, but they stayed active in later life and a few are still with us today, even.
