Silver Spoons was a short-lived but well-liked '80s sitcom that aired on NBC. The family comedy ran five seasons (1982-1987) and continues to show on rerun networks today. It's sometimes even named as an underrated gem of '80s TV.
The show starred Ricky Schroder as similarly-named "Ricky Stratton," a teen who moves in with his wealthy but immature father, "Edward," played by Joel Higgins. It followed the new rich kid life of "Ricky" and featured some youthful stars who are now very well-known, including Jason Bateman and Alfonso Ribeiro.
Silver Spoons: The Cast Today
Silver Spoons cast a mix of established actors and young stars over its five seasons. Most of them are still with us today, too, though we sadly have lost several of the older cast members, including John Houseman ("Grandfather Stratton") and Franklyn Seales ("Dexter").
In this gallery, we'll take a look back at the stars of Silver Spoons and see where they are today. Enjoy!
