- Princes of Wales break this ancient rule
- Soon it will no longer apply to George
- It has to do with their air travel
Among all the royals, as future kings, after King Charles, William and Kate travel the most. When they are not at school or engaged in similar obligations, the princes are accustomed to bringing their children, George, Charlotte, and Louis, with them.
William And Kate Should Not Travel With Their Children
However, this breaks one of the oldest unwritten rules of the royal family. As William will be the next king, his three sons have the next three positions in line of succession, so they must be kept safe in case of accidents.
This rule was formed a long time ago when flying was not as safe as it is today, so William broke this rule with the late Queen's permission.
