Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla will act in an upcoming episode of a popular TV show. The royals are set to appear in a British series in honour of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee next month.

According to Hello!, Charles and Camilla will appear on EastEnders on June 2. They already filmed the episode, likely when they visited the set of the show earlier this year (pictured here). But the royal episode in "Albert Square" was kept a secret at that time.

Here are Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla with the EastEnders cast and crew. They will play themselves in an episode that sees "Mick" and "Linda" throw a party for the Queen's jubilee — which will be happening in real life at the same time.

EastEnders is one of the UK's most popular and longest-running soap operas. It's been on the air since 1985 and has won countless awards while showing on BBC One.

EastEnders is currently in season 38. They'll air the special episode for Queen Elizabeth on the same day as the Trooping the Colour parade. The Queen's jubilee celebrations are already underway but will get into high gear in June.

Various members of the Royal Family are undertaking duties and visits for the jubilee year. Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla were most recently in Canada for the anniversary. Now royal fans can catch them on EastEnders in a few weeks.
