Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor's birth is bringing the Royal family together. She is even bringing the Markle's back together.
Thomas Markle On Meghan and Harry's Baby
Thomas Markle Sr. has had a contentious public relationship with his estranged daughter ever since he staged paparazzi photos ahead of her wedding to Prince Harry. Ever since he has targetted his daughter and son-in-law with smear campaigns and even blackmailed the pair on television.
He demanded Meghan and Harry rekindle their relationship or else he would sell stories to the media. He told Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid on Good Morning Britain, "When they say that I'm [unintelligible] and taking advantage of the press, well basically what I do because I haven't heard from them, is I'll do a story for the press. If I don't hear from them in 30 days, I'll do another story from the press. And I have yet to hear from them."
The father of the Duchess of Sussex has now made a loving statement since his granddaughter Lilibet Diana was born. He told The Sun, "I am very pleased with the announcement of the safe and healthy delivery of my new granddaughter, and I wish her and her mother all my love and best wishes."
Thomas has yet to meet Prince Harry or their son Archie Mountbatten-Windsor.
The entire Royal family has now reacted to the wonderful news. Queen Elizabeth was the first to make a public congratulations to her great-granddaughter whose name she inspired. Prince Willia, Duchess Kate, Princess Eugenie, Prince Charles, and Duchess Camilla have also all reacted to the wonderful news.
It seems this year of Royal baby births is bringing the Royals and their extended families back together again.
