And it's no secret that Meghan Markle and Ellen DeGeneres are good friends. This week, Meghan was a guest star on Ellen, where she engaged in banter, acted in a sketch where she drank from a "magical" bottle, and joked around about her royal situation.
Her father Thomas Markle, however, was not very thrilled with his daughter's appearance on the daytime talk show, which he labelled as "embarrassing."
He spoke to Sunday Mirror about Meghan's cameo and had this to say: “It’s no way to behave. The whole thing was kind of embarrassing. It was certainly embarrassing for the Royal Family."

“It’s embarrassing for her as well. I suspect it embarrassed everyone in the U.K., too. - She’s putting herself out there as a Duchess but I’ve never seen a Duchess behave this way, doing stupid stunts.”
All in all, he still hopes he can one day rekindle his relationship with Meghan, adding:
“Sooner or later I do think as a family we are going to get together. It’s sort of ridiculous we can’t and it’s all down to bad tempers. - Before the wedding, she made speeches around the world, for the UN and so on, and said there ‘should be more men like my dad’. So at that point we were in a good place, but it all went downhill when she met Harry.”
It remains to be seen whether Meghan will have a response for her father's criticism, but clearly her fans didn't seem to mind seeing Meghan's more relaxed side for a change!
