• Royal titles are held until removed or the Royal passes away
  • Prince George his inherit two titles
  • Princess Charlotte will have two options

Independent of the options and how well these titles sound, many years must pass for these royals to inherit these titles. Even if William was to become a King tomorrow, he could not make his children Dukes, Baron, Counts, or any other special title, simply because they are not of age.

A few requirements

One of the most obvious ones is that for a title to be available, the previous owner of such title must have passed away or have his title removed as a consequence of his or her actions.

Prince George is the first royal born with the right to marry a Catholic.

Let's carefully take Prince Harry as an example — he is still Duke of Sussex, so the latter is not likely to ever happen, which leads us to wait until they come of age, the previous title owner no longer has claim to said title, and possible, William's children must be married.
