- Princess Charlotte attended Prince Philip's memorial service
- She seemed quite nervous in church
- Her mother reassured her, as one lip-reader has now discovered
On March 29, the big commemoration ceremony in honor of Prince Philips (†99) took place. Royals from all over Europe were in attendance as well as of course, the British royal family.
Prince William (39) and Duchess Kate (40) attended alongside their two oldest children Prince George (8) and Princess Charlotte (6).
The tension in the face was especially noticeable on little Charlotte. No wonder, after all, many eyes were on the young royal. However, her mother Duchess Kate was able to take away her nervousness. As the Daily Mail reports, the Duchess is said to have whispered something in her daughter's ear - but what?
This is what Duchess Kate told Princess Charlotte
According to lip reader Jacqui Press, Duchess Kate said to Princess Charlotte, "you can smile." And indeed, Charlotte seemed a lot more relaxed at the end of the ceremony.

Shaking hands with the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, the little Princess enchanted everyone with her most beautiful smile. Kate's little advice seemed to have worked wonders for her daughter.
Royal fans alike were shocked by how big Prince George and Princess Charlotte looked in new pictures of the occasion. They are growing up right in front of our eyes!
