"The King was extremely busy but is polite and loves his son and his grandchildren, and not so mean that he would not take a call on his birthday," a source said. The conversation between father and son is said to have been "friendly and warm". And Duchess Meghan is also said to have personally congratulated her father-in-law on the phone and chatted with him.
