To ensure that everything runs smoothly, the rehearsals are already in full swing, being personally supervised by Prince William. More than 1,500 soldiers and 300 horses marched during the rehearsal. But the high temperatures took a toll on them. And it's all to do with the sweltering temperatures in the UK lately.
This year's ceremony will be among the hottest on record
The Welsh Guards, who will present their flag to the King at the parade, appeared in full regalia, and this means bearskin hat, jackets, garter belt and sword. Because of the high temperatures, several soldiers passed out and some had to be taken from the field on stretchers.
