Princess Kate, will accompany Prince William, to a poignant Holocaust Memorial Day event in London on Monday. This occasion also marks 80 years since the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau. The royal couple's presence highlights their ongoing commitment to remembering the Holocaust, following their attendance at the 75th anniversary in 2020. During that event, Kate captured touching photographs of Holocaust survivors Yvonne Bernstein and Steven Frank, which were displayed at the Imperial War Museum.

King Charles visits Auschwitz-Birkenau

In a historic move, King Charles will become the first British head of state to visit Auschwitz-Birkenau. He will join foreign dignitaries and Holocaust survivors in Poland to commemorate the camp's liberation. The King expressed the significance of this visit, stating, "I feel I must go for the 80th anniversary, (it’s) so important." His visit underscores the importance of remembering the atrocities committed during the Holocaust, where over a million people were murdered at Auschwitz-Birkenau alone.
