Every September, many children make their way to school for the first time. Princess Charlotte (4) also packed her school bag for the first time on 5 September. The daughter of Prince William (37) and Duchess Catherine (37) now attends Thomas's Battersea School.
Her parents Catherine and William accompanied the four-year-old as well as her brother Prince George (6) as you can see on the pictures of her big day.

Still a bit shy, little Charlotte holds her mother Catherine's hand in the pictures. On her daughter's big day, Catherine she surprises us with a new hairstyle. The Duchess' hair now shines in a beautiful light brown.
George can certainly help Charlotte settle in at her new school, as he has been going to Thomas's Battersea for two years already.
Unfortunately, Ducehss Catherine could not be present at Prince George's first day of school. At the time she was pregnant with Prince Louis and suffered from severe nausea. Now she could experience the special moment with her daughter.
Princess Charlotte does not have to pay as much school fees as George. Since she is already the second child of the Duke and Duchess at the prestigious London school, so the Cambridges actually get a bulk discount.
