There's reason to celebrate in the Cambridge home this Sunday: It's the 6th birthday of Princess Charlotte, the second eldest child and only daughter of Prince William and Duchess Kate. The Royal Family celebrated the occasion with a new portrait of Charlotte on her special day.

New picture: Princess Charlotte looks like the Queen

In the new picture, Princess Charlotte wears her blonde hair down over a floral-patterned dress. The 6-year-old is getting quite tall and she certainly has her father's eyes.

But fans are all in agreement that there's one other relative whom Charlotte strongly resembles: her great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II.

As has been tradition, the new Cambridge family portrait was taken by Duchess Kate, who is a skilled photographer. The royal mother-of-three also shared a cute photo just one week ago for Prince Louis's 3rd birthday. The proud mother knows best when it comes to photographing her children.

The new portrait wasn't shared online by Kensington Palace this weekend because Prince William, as President of the Football Association, is participating in a social media boycott from April 30 until May 3. It's a protest in the UK football community against "sustained abuse received online" against players and others working in the sport.
