With the coronavirus outbreak happening in the UK and around the world, elderly people are the demographic that most need to watch out when it comes to the so-called 'social distancing' in the coming weeks and months. Princess Beatrice's fiancé, the handsome Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi knows that as well and took to social media on Sunday to share some thoughts on the subject. He also called on British supermarkets with an idea...

Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi: "[...] elderly shoppers in first!"
He apparently saw a suggestion on Twitter and shared the idea right away. He wrote: "A great idea just seen on Twitter. Would it be possible for the supermarkets to only allow elderly shoppers in first, so that they can shop before the rest of us, as the shops will be clean/ disinfected, and before the shelves are all cleared. #elderlyhour."
That is certainly a sensible idea and could probably be implemented across the board in the UK. The virus outbreak is affecting the entire world at this time and that goes for the Royal Family as well: Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla have already cancelled their planned spring tour which would have taken them to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus and Jordan.
Edoardo also wrote another Tweet in which he shared a form that British citizens can use to help out elderly people in their buildings or neighbourhoods, who need to self-isolate during these times. He captioned the picture as follows: "The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention. Kindness is a choice."
