Prince William has shared on social media his first experience with the coronavirus vaccine!
Prince William Receives First Dose Of Vaccine
Buckingham Palace has just proudly shared that the Duke of Cambridge has received his first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine! He got his first jab at the London Science Museum and shared a photo of the joyous occasion.
Prince William braced for the needle and even showed off his bicep! He captioned the photo: "On Tuesday I received my first dose of COVID-19 vaccine. To all those working on the vaccine rollout - thank you for everything you've done and continue to do."
Both Prince Charles and Prince William suffered the virus last spring and luckily survived. Prince William chose to keep his diagnosis private to keep the commonwealth from worrying until he was clear from the virus.
His father told Sky News, "I feel particularly for those who have lost their loved ones and have been unable to be with them at the time. That, to me, is the most ghastly thing. But in order to prevent this happening to so many more people, I'm so determined to find a way out of this."
William has been personally checking on the vaccine creators since the pandemic first reared its ugly head. He had been cheerleading their efforts on and congratulated them when they succeeded and now he finally gets to benefit from the fruits of their labor.
Prince William has always been a pillar of strength and a great role model like his grandmother Queen Elizabeth so sharing his vaccination news is sure to inspire countless others as well.
