Prince William and Duchess Kate were recently seen showing their support for frontline workers in the United Kingdom! As Hello! shares, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made a special visit to the Newham Ambulance Station on Thursday, where they spent time talking to the paramedics about their experiences during the pandemic.
William and Kate find out about wellbeing initiatives
Prince William and Duchess Kate wore their masks as they talked to several frontline workers about the mental health support Newham Ambulance Station has provided. Their conversation took place in a space known as the outdoor wellbeing garden, where they learned of some of the initiatives that have been introduced.
As People mentions, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge found out that the organization has several wellbeing stations, and hosts drop-in sessions. They also spoke to paramedic Shani Smith about her work with the Wellbeing Tea Trucks service, which travels around the U.K. bringing warm drinks and snacks to frontline workers!
William and Kate have video call with paramedic and her family
Prince William and Duchess Kate also spoke to another paramedic, Jahrin "Jay" Khan. As Hello! mentions, while most of Khan's family lives in London, her father Abu is in Bangladesh. However, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had a special video call with Khan and her family! "You must be very proud of your daughter," William told Abu.
During the visit to Newham Ambulance Station, William wore a navy coat and sweater. Kate was seen in a tan coat designed by Massimo Dutti, which she also stepped out in last year! While the visit marks their second recent in-person appearance in London, William and Kate have virtually talked to lots of people on the front lines of the pandemic.

The couple have been conducting their calls from Sandringham House, which the queen has lent to them during lockdown. Earlier this year, they checked in with student nurses in Ireland, and had a powerful video call with care workers!
