When Philip was moved to the new hospital on Monday, Buckingham Palace said: "The Duke remains comfortable and is responding to treatment but is expected to remain in hospital until at least the end of the week."

Duchess Camilla's update on Prince Philip also echoes the well wishes of the Duke's son, Prince Edward, who last week said his father was doing "a lot better" and reiterated the "fingers crossed" message.
