For the first time in 20 years, Prince Philip (97) was absent from the Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph in London. Nevertheless, there is no cause for concern, as the 97-year-old seems to be in good health.

Prince Philip was seen enjoying a carriage ride

On Friday morning, the Prince was spotted on the coach box navigating a two-horse carriage through the beautiful castle park in Windsor. This Monday morning, the royal pensioner enjoyed a ride through the colorful November forest.

During the festivities on Sunday, Queen Elizabeth II (92) was accompanied by Duchess Catherine (36), Duchess Camilla (71) and Duchess Meghan (37) instead. The latter, however, did not stand on the balcony together with the others but accompanied Elke Büdenbender (56), the wife of Germany’s Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier (62).

Fortunately, the British royal family is large enough and no longer dependent on the services of their oldest member, who can enjoy his well-deserved retirement.
