It was previously reported that Harry, Meghan and Archie were set to visit the Queen this Summer in Balmoral in Scotland, but their plans could be thwarted by the pandemic. However, a source has told The Sun that the royal couple is apparently still really looking forward to their trip with baby Archie.
Prince Harry & Meghan "desperately hoping" to make the trip
The source said: "Harry and Meghan are still desperately hoping that they will be able to come over the summer and spend time with the Queen. They are looking forward to the visit immensely and are hoping by the time of the trip, which is scheduled, for around June or July that the situation will have settled down."
The Queen's Health is "put before anything else"
Of course, it is still unclear whether international travel will be back to normal in the summer. The source added that "everyone at the moment is mindful that things may have to change and that the health of the Queen and the rest of the Royal Family will be put before anything else."
We will have to wait and see if their trip takes place - the Queen would surely love to see her great grandson. She was "very sad" that Archie did not come along with Harry and Meghan for their final royal engagements this month...
