Prince Harry will be the latest star to sing along with James Corden on "Carpool Karaoke."
On Friday, none other than the Duke of Sussex was spotted riding atop a double-decker bus in Hollywood. Joining him were Corden, the late-night host, and a camera crew — and it's been confirmed that they were filming a "Carpool Karaoke" segment for an upcoming episode of Corden's talk show.
Prince Harry: "Carpool Karaoke" appearance coming soon
Initially, reports were unsure of what Prince Harry was up to with Corden, but sources confirmed to People magazine that the outing was to shoot a "COVID appropriate segment of Carpool Karaoke." It turns out the pair are long-time friends and they toured Hollywood landmarks while also chatting about Harry's new life in the US.
Few other details on Prince Harry's Late Late Show episode are not known at this time. Likewise, the source who spoke to People remained tightlipped about which tunes will feature on the Duke's playlist for "Carpool Karaoke" — the segment on Corden's show where celebrities join him in a car-ride singalong session.
Watch for Prince Harry on James Corden's Late Late Show
Since relocating to California, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have made a few appearances on primetime TV in the US, including the couple's speech during the TIME 100 special. But the Late Late Show guest appearance would be a first for Harry on American late-night TV.
The Duke, however, was a topic of conversation on Corden's program not all that long ago. In January, actor Rob Lowe talked Prince Harry—his new neighbour in Santa Barbara—claiming that he'd spotted him wearing a ponytail. But since that time, Lowe's observation hasn't been supported by Harry's public appearances.
Stay tuned for Prince Harry's Late Late Show episode.
