Prince Harry took to Instagram to announce that the 2022 Invictus Games will be held in Düsseldorf, Germany. He added that Belgium and the Republic of Korea are participating in the games for the first time this year, making twenty countries a part of the competition.

Düsseldorf: The sixth city to host the games
The Duke of Sussex first launched the event back in 2014. The games see wounded, injured or sick (WIS) armed services personnel and veterans compete in a range of adaptive sports. Previous host cities for the Invictus Games include London, Orlando, Toronto, Sydney, and the Hague. In 2022, Düsseldorf will join this list of hosts of the popular and inspirational event.
