This coming Monday will mark the last royal engagement for Prince Harry before he and Duchess Meghan step back as senior members of the royal family. But while the royal couple are striving for more freedom and independence, the Duke of Sussex has not forgotten his key cause: veterans.

Prince Harry to veterans: "You have my back"
The annual Endeavour Fund Awards, which Prince Harry attended with Duchess Meghan on Thursday, gave him a chance to address his fellow veterans in a moving and heartfelt way, just days before his royal exit.
"I feel incredibly lucky to be able to count myself as one of you, and I'm deeply proud to have served among you as Captain Wales," Harry said. "A lot of you tonight have told me you have my back. Well, I'm also here to tell you, I've always got yours.",
The royal couple will soon be going back to Canada to start a new life with baby Archie on Vancouver Island, but even without being a senior royal, Prince Harry will still retain the ranks of Major, Lieutenant Commander and Squadron Leader, for now.
It looks like the Duke will always be a military man: "The military was a part of his upbringing and his life. He brought a lot to those guys and understood things. It is sad," a palace insider has told PEOPLE before....
