Last year, during Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli's wedding planning, a royal source revealed that Prince Andrew would like to play a major role in his daughter's big day, despite the controversy surrounding Jeffrey Epstein.
Prince Andrew did not attend Princess Beatrice's engagement party in December. However, the royal source said that "he plays a very traditional role in her life. She’s his greatest supporter. This is obviously very hard times."
