Piers Morgan, host of Good Morning Britain, was among the countless people who watched Queen Elizabeth II address the nation on Sunday night in what was certainly a uplifting and positive speech. It was obviously important as well as a deeply personal desire for the Queen to call on the people of Britain and the Commonwealth to stand together in "a time of disruption".
Shortly after the broadcast, Morgan took to Twitter to express his feelings about the 93-year-old monarch's speech, and you could tell her TV address had floored him.

Piers Morgan: "A magnificent speech"
Morgan tweeted this to his 7.2 million followers: "A magnificent speech from a magnificent lady. Thank you, Your Majesty - this was your finest moment as our Monarch." And he was not done yet, as he took up the subject on Good Morning Britain on Monday morning.
Talking to his co-host Susanna Reid on GMB, Piers Morgan reflected on the Queen's speech and said "it was very very powerful," and that Elizabeth II had "as always hit the perfect tone" on Sunday night.
