Peter Phillips appears to be moving on after divorcing his wife of 12 years.
Phillips, the 44-year-old son of Princess Anne, had been married to his wife Autumn Kelly since 2008. The couple, who has two daughters, announced their split in 2019 and finalized the divorce in June of this year. Is there now a new woman in Peter's life?
Peter Phillips had new date at royal event after divorce
Over the weekend, the Royal Family had one of its more significant events of late: a joint christening ceremony for Zara Tindall's and Princess Eugenie's sons.
Phillips attended, and there was someone new by his side: a woman named Lindsay Wallace. Reports say she is a longtime friend of Peter and his sister Zara, and that they've spent a lot of time together in recent months.
So far, however, Phillips's spokesman confirmed to Hello! only that the pair attended the event and offered no further relationship details.
Wallace also recently split from her husband and has two kids of her own. Her name has been connected to Phillips since early this year, when he was questioned about visiting her amid pandemic travel restrictions in March.
Phillips said that the earlier visit was for "business," but even then there was speculation that they were romantically involved, according to the Daily Mail. The newspaper identifies Wallace as the daughter of a "well-off oil tycoon."
Phillips's ex Autumn Kelly is not thought to have attended the Nov. 21 ceremony, where Peter brought Lindsay Wallace as his plus-one.
Phillips is the eldest grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II, who was able to join her family at the christening this past weekend after several weeks of health troubles.
