Duchess Meghan dives right into tensions with Buckingham Palace in a new preview of Oprah with Meghan and Harry.
The 30-second clip shows Oprah Winfrey one on one with a candid Meghan. Oprah asks, "How do you feel about the Palace hearing you speak your truth today?" The Duchess answers by saying that The Firm played an "active role" in "perpetuating falsehoods" about her and Prince Harry.

Meghan's full answer about the Palace: "I don't know how they could expect that, after all of this time, we would still just be silent if there is an active role that The Firm is playing in perpetuating falsehoods about us. And if that comes with risk of losing things, I mean, there's a lot that's been lost already." Watch below.
The timing of the new preview is interesting, seeing as Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are freshly involved in an exchange with the Palace regarding "misinformation" in a new report about bullying accusations levelled at the couple while they were working royals.
Harry, Meghan call report "defamatory" before Oprah interview
The Duke and Duchess denied the allegations, made by royal aides, that they were "outrageous bullies" and "forced out" two personal assistants at Kensington Palace in 2018, which reportedly led an advisor to file a complaint.
Through their spokesperson, they called the claims part of a "calculated smear campaign," adding it was "no coincidence" that the report arrived just days before their highly-anticipated interview. The Palace said it is "very concerned" about the story and has launched an investigation.
Oprah with Meghan and Harry: A Primetime Special airs Sunday, March 7, on CBS and Monday, March 8, on ITV. Earlier previews showed Winfrey asking Meghan, "Were you silent or were you silenced?" while Prince Harry expressed fears about "history repeating itself" and recalled the intense scrutiny faced by his late mother, Princess Diana.
