Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are expecting baby no. 2!

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed the news today through a spokesperson — and the announcement came with a touching new portrait of the happy couple posing outdoors.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle: New portrait for pregnancy

In the Valentine's Day announcement, Harry and Meghan's spokesperson said: "We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child."

Along with that initial news, the couple released a black-and-white photograph showing Meghan with a baby bump laying happily with her husband against a natural backdrop. Photographer Misan Harriman took the photo "remotely," according to the release.

The Duke and Duchess welcomed their first child, Archie, in 2019. The soon-to-be big brother will turn 2 years old this May. This latest royal baby news also comes just days after Prince Harry's cousin, Princess Eugenie, gave birth to her first child. Zara Tindall, the daughter of Princess Anne, is also expecting her third child in the coming months.

Meghan's pregnancy also comes after she sadly suffered a miscarriage in the summer of 2020 and later opened up about the experience. We're sending best wishes to Harry and Meghan as they prepare to welcome a fourth member in their family.

You can tell it runs in the family!
