- Meghan Markle is back
- She's starting her own podcast
- It launches this summer
We haven't heard too much from Meghan Markle lately.
Of course, Meghan quit acting when she married Prince Harry, but the Duchess was lining up a few media projects in recent years. Now, one of them is finally going to debut: her very own podcast.
The Meghan Markle podcast debuts this summer
Way back in 2020, Meghan and Harry partnered with Spotify on a podcast deal. Finally, their Archewell Audio network confirmed today Meghan will launch a podcast this summer.
According to Variety, the new podcast is titled Meghan. The format and topic of Duchess Meghan's show remains a bit unclear, though there was previous talk of a podcast about "high-profile women."
Also interesting:
You'll remember Meghan and Harry were concerned with COVID-19 misinformation on Spotify, which led names like Neil Young to leave the audio streamer.
But the royal couple is satisfied with the action Spotify took, and they aren't backing out of their multimillion-dollar deal. Meghan's podcast should be the start of the collaboration.
Archewell Audio is still active on Spotify today, but the only episode to ever appear was a 2020 Christmas special.
Listen for Meghan this summer!
