- Harry and Meghan are making all the headlines right now
- Their new documentary premieres on Netflix this week
- The couple appeared at a new event amid the controversy
These days, hardly any topic dominates the headlines more than Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan's documentary.
Shortly before the release of the first episode on Netflix, the couple showed up once again on the red carpet. The couple beamed in front of photographers at the Ripple of Hope Award Gala in New York, presented by the Robert F. Kennedy Foundation.

Meghan and Harry dress their best at new award show
At the event, while Harry opted for a plain suit and tie, Meghan arrived in an off-the-shoulder white dress with leg slit.
The Sussexes received an award there for their work "to protect and advance equity, justice, and human rights," according to the organization's statement.
Also interesting:
Meghan and Harry had pre-recorded a speech in which they once again stressed the importance of working against racism.
They also stated their intention to work with the organization in the future and to create their own award.
The timing couldn't have been more fitting. Just a few days before the appearance, Netflix released the first trailers for their documentary. The previews show that the couple will be very critical of the Royal Family in the series.
Racism is expected to be a major topic – after all, that was one of the main points of Meghan's Oprah interview in 2021.
