Princess Kate has been crowned the most stylish British royal and consistently ranks highly in polls.
However, her position within the royal family can get "lonely," noted royal expert and author Tessa Dunlop for 'OK! Magazine.'
Princess Kate is making history in countless ways
"I think in some ways, Kate feels probably quite lonely... She's left the category of a lone ranger or rich girl from her home county and has become this sort of stratospherically famous, influential individual and I think that's probably quite a lonely position," Dunlop said.
After marrying Prince William in April 2011, Kate became the Duchess of Cambridge and, after the Queen's passing in 2022, the Princess of Wales.
In a sense, Dunlop said, Kate came into the royal family as an “outsider. She adds that Kate has proven to be an "incredibly successful import into the Royal Family ".

Princess Kate is venturing into "uncharted territory" in the modern history of the royal family, having surpassed the age at which Princess Diana passed away at 36 in 1997.
"[Princess Diana] had died before she got to Kate's age, they [the monarchy] haven't had a Kate," added Dunlop.
