- Prince Harry is no longer a royal
- He has not been on good terms with his family
- THIS meeting might be in the works very soon
'Marie Claire' who has their ears and eyes very much peeled on what the comings and goings of the British royal family has dropped quite an exciting prospect on royal fans. As they reported yesterday, King Charles is set to convene an "urgent" summit at the famous Balmoral Castle, and Queen Camilla and the Prince and Princess of Wales are expected to be in attendance. It's commonplace that every year, the British royals meet during the summer to spend some quality time together, and plan any strategies and events for the year to come.
Will Harry be back in the fold soon?
In recent times, any royal gathering has been sans Harry. But this time, the monarch's younger son, won’t be left out of the festivities. Oh goodie! This sounds like promising news of a royal return. Palace staff are reportedly drawing up plans for father and son to meet for talks on Sunday, September 17 as 'The Mirror' has reported. That's barely a month away!
British royal fans are already excited about what could be the beginning of a new dawn in the royal family's recent history that has been tainted by Harry's scandalous exit, and the declarations and revelations he has made on the royal family ever since.
Also interesting:
Of course, this is the royals after all. Things can change in a heartbeat. Everything has to be taken with a grain of salt, but the news is nothing if not exciting. Luckily the timing worked out perfectly. Harry will be flying through London on his way home to California from his Invictus Games, which are hosted this year in Germany.
King Charles himself will also be in London, after his scheduled holiday at Balmoral. Then, he and Queen Camilla will make a rescheduled visit to France on September 20. So far, things are looking promising. "Staff are trying to fine tune the details as we speak," a source told 'OK' magazine.
The potential meeting between the two men would fall just two days after Harry turns 39 on September 15. If it ends up happening, this would be the first time father and son will have seen one another since the king's Coronation on May 6. Who knows what they would talk about?
It would also, by the way, be the first personal meeting between the two since the release of Harry's explosive memoir 'Spare' earlier this year. The book had many negative things to say about the royal family...and perhaps Charles wants to discuss...
