It is common knowledge that King Charles is a great advocate of reforms and austerity measures. Now it has become known that a particularly tough decision has apparently been made. As the Evening Standard reports, citing sources in the royal family, Charles wants to make massive savings.

The new monarch isn't playing around!

Here's what the idea entails: in a five-year plan, he is supposed to cut housing allowances for some of his relatives. That means the royals have to pay their own rent. Exactly who this applies to and to what extent full-time royals like William or Anne are affected has not been confirmed.
