- The Princess of Wales lends a hand in Prince George's Math Prep
- Kate Middleton engaged with Students at Fitzalan High School today
- Prince George is just at the beginning of being tested
Princess Kate, 41, shared her eldest son's insightful perspective on the challenges of school testing during her visit to Fitzalan High School in Cardiff, Wales on Tuesday.
A dedicated and devoted mother
This revelation followed the announcement that Princess Kate would not be accompanying Prince William to the 2023 Earthshot Prize Awards Ceremony in Singapore on November 7. She decided to stay home and support Prince George, who is 10 years old, during a crucial exam week at school, as well as her other children, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5.
Candid classroom chat
In a TikTok video shared by Matt Wilkinson of 'The Sun', Kate sat among a group of students and shared, "George is just beginning to experience the demands of testing. He often says, 'Mummy, I'm always being tested.' But when it comes to A-levels, that's when you truly feel the pressure."
It's worth noting that A-levels are rigorous subject-based examinations commonly taken to qualify for university admission in the United Kingdom. Prince George is still many years away from reaching that stage in his education.
More about Princess Kate:
During their busy visit to Fitzalan High School, Prince William and Kate engaged with sixth-form students (equivalent to 12th grade in the United States) pursuing A-levels and vocational studies, as well as those in the English for Speakers of Other Languages program. They observed some of the students' lessons. The royal couple's visit to Wales on Tuesday was in commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the HMT Empire Windrush's arrival in London and the start of Black History Month in the United Kingdom in October.
Professor Uzo Iwobi shared his excitement about having the Prince and Princess of Wales visit the elders at the Grange Pavilion, stating, "They've illuminated a community that has often been overlooked by history. This light will never be extinguished. These elders will carry this memory to their graves."
She won't join Prince William this time
As Prince George grows older, education appears to be a top priority for the Windsor family, and the Princess will not accompany Prince William to the Earthshot Prize event next month. Instead, she will be focused on assisting George in his exam preparations.
This decision came after Prince William officially confirmed his attendance at the Singapore event during the Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit in New York City on September 19.
