At around 6.30 p.m. - UK time - the death of Queen Elizabeth II was officially confirmed. The Queen's favorite grandson arrived at Balmoral Castle in Scotland around 9 p.m. His wife Meghan, with whom he was currently traveling in Great Britain and Germany, did not accompany him.
The spokesman previously said that Meghan had traveled to Scotland to be with the Queen, as reported by People. But then there was a spontaneous change of plan and Meghan stayed in London.
