Duchess Meghan is continuing to seek out new creative endeavours, and her latest project sees her teaming up with Netflix! As Entertainment Tonight shares, the streaming platform has announced that Meghan is taking on an important role as part of the production team of the upcoming children's show, Pearl.

Meghan's new series Pearl "celebrates extraordinary women"

Duchess Meghan is an executive producer for Pearl, working alongside David Furnish, Carolyn Soper, Dan Cogan, Liz Garbus, and showrunner Amanda Rynda. According to Netflix, Pearl centers on a 12-year-old girl who finds inspiration in historical women. The animated series will be produced through Archewell Productions, which Meghan and Prince Harry founded for their future media endeavours.

The Duchess of Sussex also made a statement in which she expressed her excitement about the brand-new show. She explained that the series' titular heroine "is on a journey of self-discovery as she tries to overcome life’s daily challenges," and that Pearl "celebrates extraordinary women throughout history."
