Duchess Meghan is making headlines again for getting involved in the world of politics.
This week, it came out that Meghan has been placing private calls to US politicians to lobby for paid parental leave for Americans. The politicians, however, were surprised not only by the calls but also by Meghan introducing herself with her royal title.

US Senators Shelley Moore Capito and Susan Collins are two of the politicians who claim to have received unexpected calls from the wife of Prince Harry.
Senator Collins specifically expressed surprise at Meghan introducing herself as the Duchess of Sussex, which she said felt "ironic." Nonetheless, it is a title Meghan still holds and uses today.
Meanwhile, the Duchess has become devoted to the cause of paid parental leave, recently stating that "no family should have to choose between earning a living and having the freedom to take care of their child."
